What can be commissioned
One-to-one mentoring and tutoring
Whether you need face-to-face or online sessions, I can provide a bespoke approach in school or at home on a daily or weekly basis. Provision can be taken up for half a term, a term or a whole academic year. I am very flexible.
Professional consultation
I can work collaboratively with schools and other professionals to support a shared understanding of a young person's learning needs and help develop consistent approaches.
Assessment and reporting
Written reports for EHCP reviews, individual support plans, annual reviews or reintegration plans, and standard termly reporting, are all available and produced to a high standard. Genuine, personalised reports written by me, not AI.
How commissioning works
- 1Referral conversationInitially we would discuss the student's needs, current attainment, specific learning difficulties, SEMH, diagnoses and any relevant information that can help me tailor my provision towards individual needs.
- 2Initial assessmentIdeally I would take the time to meet the family and the young person, talking through their lived experience and trying to understand the situation from the student's perspective, and why we are where we are.
- 3Agreed planI would build a plan that includes building rapport, agreed objectives covering learning, re-engagement, life skills and more, a clear schedule and agreed reporting points.
- 4ReviewThis is an ongoing process. After every session I review progress and methodology, and ask what is working and what needs to change. It is formalised in reporting at agreed points in the term and the academic year, and all parties can feed back to me at any time.
